About us…

Our Products

Our products are vegan friendly, and where possible we grow our ingredients such as apples, blackberries, elderflowers, blackcurrants, raspberries, grapes and others, although we haven’t quite figured out mango growing in Kent!.

Did you know that all the apples in our apple juice are hand picked by our family from our orchard in Kent? We have a great weekend picking apples, with those of us under 40 climbing high and giving the old trees a good shake!

Buying from us

As we are a small, independent business you won't find our products in any shops.  You can buy directly from us by either visiting us at the many country shows, fairs and events we attend (take a look at our events page), or you can order directly using our online order form. Where possible we can deliver to the local Edenbridge/ Warlingham areas. We are able to accept cash, card and Apple using SumUp for secure payments.

Supporting local; As a small business, we do all we can to support other small business and local suppliers. This means that our products are of a high quality, we have traceability and we support British manufacturing. For example all of our glass jars are made in Britain and are reusable and recyclable.

We are proud members of the Kent Smallholders Association and can be regularly found at many of the events they attend throughout the year - please come along to have a chat about smallholding.

We are members of the NMTF - National Market Traders Federation

We have a five out of five hygiene rating and stay up to date with relevant hygiene and allergy training. If you have any questions, or want to speak with us directly regarding allergens please get in contact with us.

Sustainability

Wherever possible we ensure to be as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible. All of our jars and bottles are fully recyclable as well as reusable - have fun with upcycling your jars and bottles, we’ve seen some great ideas over the years.

For the fruit and vegetables we grow ourselves, we do not use any pesticides or treatments (just a lot of weeding by hand in the sun!) and we pick all of our own-grown fruit and vegetables by hand. We use a local apple farmer to juice our apples for us to minimise waste.

The cellophane for our gifts is compostable/ biodegradable as are the clear carrier bags we use sparingly at markets/ events.

The Acacia wood for our mini jar gift sets is sustainably and responsibly sourced, and we strongly encourage buyers to re-use and repurpose. We have been told they make great button/ pin collection jars with holder or alternatively you can pop tea-light candles in the holder.
